Homebase app

The Homebase app has everything small businesses need to manage team scheduling, time tracking, payroll, messaging, HR, compliance, and more all in one place. It gives you an easy way to keep your team and business on track on the go, from making scheduling updates, approving PTO or shift trades, checking time cards, tracking labor costs, messaging employees, all the way to submitting payroll.

We also have a web desktop app that you can use for more complex administrative tasks, like managing full payroll and taxes, posting jobs and tracking applicants, assigning employees to multiple locations, pulling advanced reports, and building schedules with our drag-and-drop schedule builder.

The Homebase app is free to download on most phones, tablets, and POS devices so your employees can clock hours, check schedules, and message each other for free.

As an employee, you can download the free Homebase app on Android or iOS. Before you can log in, your manager will need to add you to the team’s Homebase account with your phone number.

Once you’re added to the team, you can login with the same phone number to set up your profile and start using the app to clock hours, check your schedule, request time off, trade or pick up shifts, and message anyone in the company, right from the app.

To clock out on the Homebase app on a phone, go to your dashboard, tap the clock out button, and confirm clock out. You can also leave feedback about the shift or leave notes for your manager if needed.
