Timesheet Approval

Homebase merchants on the Plus plan are now able to approve and lock Timesheets for payroll.

Once a time card is approved, it is “locked” from future edits – only managers with permission can edit approved time cards.

Enabling Timesheet Approvals

To enable Timesheet Approvals, follow these steps:

1.) Log in to your Homebase account at http://app.joinhomebase.com

2.) Choose the “Settings” tab in the left hand navigation bar.

3.) Under the “Timeclock and Timesheets” tab at the top, scroll down the page to Timesheet Approvals.

4.) Switch Timesheet Approvals on

5.) Click Save Edits at either the bottom or top right hand corner of your page.

Approving Timesheets

  1. Sign-in to your Homebase web dashboard, click the Timesheets tab on the left hand navigation.
  2. At the top left of the Timesheets tab, select the date range that you would like to approve Timesheets for.
  3. Click the Approve All button at the top right of your Timesheets page to approve all timesheets for the period


4. Approve individual timecards by going in to an employee’s detailed timecard, selecting the checkbox within the row of each timesheet, and clicking the Approve button.



**If a manager tries to edit an approved time card, either on the web Timesheets or Homebase time clock devices, they will receive a warning that they are trying to edit an already approved time card and will not be allowed to continue.**
