Employee Schedule Templates

Using Homebase, make weekly Scheduling easier and faster. Saving your common Schedule(s) to Template(s) allows for quicker application on future Schedules. Time is money- so save time now totally for free.

Here is how to create an Employee Schedule Template:

1.) Navigate to the Schedule icon on the top navigation bar.

2.) Select the “Options” icon at the top right of the page.

3.) In the drop-down, select “Save Schedule to Template” to save the current Schedule as a Template for future use.

4.) Name your Template and Save.

 

Here is how to apply an Employee Schedule Template:

1.) Navigate to the Schedule icon on the top navigation bar.

2.) Select the “Options” icon at the top right of the page.

3.) In the drop-down, select “Add Shifts from Template” to apply a Template to the current Schedule.

4.) Select a previously saved Template and click “Add from Template“.

 

Here is how to delete an Employee Schedule Template:

1.) Navigate to the Schedule icon on the top navigation bar.

2.) Select the “Options” icon at the top right of the page.

3.) In the drop-down, select “Add Shifts from Template” to access your Templates.

4.) Select a previously saved Template and click “Delete this Template“.

 

Q: How do I edit a Template?

A: You can edit a Template by applying it to a weekly Schedule, editing it, and Saving as Template once more. You may want to differentiate your new Template by using a name separate from your older Template to avoid confusion when deleting the older Template if necessary.
